Checkout and Overdue Notice Procedure

Bulldog Learning Center

Checkout Procedure

  1. A book may not be checked out without the use of a student using their personal library card. Like a public library, this is the identification and it makes the patron responsible for the book. The library card is given to the student on their history checkout day and then collected and stored when the student has checked out the book for safe keeping.
  2. When a student has finished the book and would like to check out another before the history day, they will give the librarian the book to scan in-initiating an open account and scan out the book under the same account-closing the patron account.
  3. Students have a max of two items under their name.
  • Student Chromebook
  • A Book of their choosing (only one book at a time)

Library Books Visiting the library is a privilege to all students. Students are expected to maintain proper care of the books and equipment. Students with overdue books may not be permitted to check out additional library books. Students who lose or damage library books beyond use will pay the current price of the books.
